Wow! Baby Monitor Shows 10-Year-Old Boy Comforting His Little Brother At 3 In The Morning

Siblings don’t always get along. We all know this. I remember one time when I was seven, my older brother told me I needed to sleep in the closet because there was a monster under my bed. I slept inside the closet for three days straight until my mother finally convinced me it was okay to move back to the bed.  But I digress....

But sometimes, the love between siblings can be incredibly moving. Gloria McIntosh, a mother of six from Ohio, was nearly moved to tears when she saw her 10-year-old son, Mason, comforting his 18-month-old brother, Greyson, in the middle of the night.

The heartwarming moment was captured on the baby monitor inside the room. Mason heard his little brother crying at three in the morning, so he went inside his room to comfort him and help him fall back asleep.

Mason thought his parents were sleeping, but really they were up watching him on the monitor.

“I was smiling the whole time. He has a love for Greyson that is unspeakable. I can’t even really explain it. I’m sure Mason was tired and cranky. He was woken up at 3 a.m. But how you saw him treat his brother is how he is. He steps up.”

According to Gloria, Mason tried to get Greyson to sleep for thirty minutes. He played with him, wiped the snot from his nose, read him a story and even climbed inside his crib with him.

Unfortunately, Gresyon was still fussy, so Gloria came in to give Mason a break. She asked him why he didn’t come wake her up, and he told her, “you had a big day and I just wanted you to get some rest.”

 Wow, right? Not many 10-year-olds are that connected to the world around them. The clip went viral on TikTok and has been seen by millions.

 And that’s truly special, because unlike most viral videos, it’s not a prank. It’s not some dance craze. It’s not someone acting like a lunatic in public. It’s not a dog dancing to music (although that’s adorable)

 It’s just a simple, heartwarming moment that shows kindness and love. The world needs more of this.
